Perfect Length
I bought this several months ago while preparing for a custom install of the ARB twin compressor in the bed of my 2020 Chevrolet Silverado CCSB. I'm currently working on the install and very relieved I purchased this extension. I'm installing the air compressor in the driver's side of the bed on a molle panel from Valhalla Offroad. The compressor is as far forward as I could install it. The on/off switch is much closer to the tailgate. The battery for the truck is on the passenger side over the front wheel. This extension is the exact length I needed to power the air compressor. The harness that came with the compressor was long enough to stretch from battery to the driver side hood hinge along the front of the cowl trim at the front of the windshield inside the engine bay, then down a few inches to behind the wheel well liner. At this location I connected the Expedition Harness and ran it down to under the cab next to the frame rail and up into the bed wall where I used a hole saw and grommet to pass the harness into the bed and connect to the compressor and switch. At first I want sure if this harness was long enough for a Silverado because Expedition Essentials focuses on Tacomas, but figured I'd give it a try before making my own harness. I'm very glad I purchased this item. I didn't need to bunch any excess wire because there wasn't any. This was the exact length I needed.
